1. An appropriate permit must be clearly displayed on the windscreen. If you have a valid parking permit which may have been obscured for example by frost on the windscreen, leaflets put under you windscreen wiper or has fallen off in damp weather, then send a copy of your permit with a representation and you should have your penalty charge notice cancelled.
