Specific grounds of appeal for this contravention

If the contravention is that of “failing to comply with a sign indicating restrictions on entering a pedestrian zone, (or entering and waiting in a pedestrian zone)” it is important to remember that in order to prove this contravention that the enforcing authority must actually show you passing the sign during restricted hours and subsequent movement by the vehicle including whether it parks, stops or traverses the restricted length/area It is not sufficient to simply show you in or entering a pedestrian zone. You can ask to see the video or photographic evidence. Even if the stated contravention is not that of “failing to comply with a sign” the signage must still be clear.
